01 Topic 01
Ordering
How can I place an order?
Send an inquiry via our price-request form or email [email protected]. Please include dimensions, preferred materials, and a brief style description. We'll send a detailed quote within two business days.
How long does it take for you to confirm orders?
You get an initial quote within two business days. We confirm the order once the deposit arrives and you sign off on the technical drawing — usually 3–7 days.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, we issue invoices to both individuals and legal entities. When placing an order, please include your company details (name, registry code, VAT number, address) in the comments.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept bank transfer (Estonia, EU SEPA), invoice with deferred payment for businesses, and card payment in the showroom. Standard split: 50 % deposit + 50 % before delivery.
02 Topic 02
Showroom & samples
Do you have a showroom where furniture can be seen in person?
We make every piece to order and don't run a retail store. There is a sample display in our Tartu office — fronts, edges, materials, and finishes you can touch and compare before placing an order. Please book a visit in advance.
Which furniture items do you have in stock?
We don't stock finished furniture. Everything is built to your measurements and choices. We only keep materials, edges, and finishes in stock.
Can I choose colors that are not listed on the website?
Yes. We work with the RAL and NCS color systems — thousands of shades. If you have a specific color in mind, send us the code or a sample and we'll match it exactly.
03 Topic 03
Delivery & assembly
What is the cost of delivery?
Delivery cost depends on the address, order size, and complexity. We calculate it for each order and include the rate in the quote before you confirm.
At what time do you deliver the furniture?
We typically deliver on weekdays between 9:00 and 18:00. We agree the delivery slot with you in advance, so no need to wait around all day.
Will I be contacted before the furniture delivery?
Yes. The courier or assembly team will call 1–2 days before delivery, and again about 1 hour before arrival.
How long does it take to deliver the furniture?
Within Estonia 1–3 days after production. To Latvia or Finland 5–7 days; elsewhere in the Nordics 7–14 days, depending on logistics schedule.
If the furniture is delayed, when will I receive it?
If something delays the order, we contact you right away with a new date. Delays rarely run more than 5 business days.
Does the furniture arrive already assembled?
Larger pieces (kitchens, bathroom cabinetry, wardrobes) arrive flat-packed to prevent transport damage. Our team assembles them at your place.
Do you assemble furniture?
Yes, we offer full assembly service. Our team assembles kitchens, bathroom furniture, and other custom pieces on site.
Do the wall-attachment elements come in the product package?
Yes, all necessary fasteners (screws, brackets, wall anchors) come included. For unusual wall types (old lime beams, thin drywall) we add reinforcement anchors — we always discuss this before installation.
04 Topic 04
Warranty & support
Do you provide a manufacturer’s warranty for the furniture?
Yes, we provide a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on all furniture we make. It covers manufacturing defects, front deformation, hardware failures, and edge defects.
Where should I contact and what information should I provide regarding a furniture defect?
Email [email protected] with: order number, description of the defect, a few photos (close-up + wide), and the purchase date. We respond within one business day and arrange repair or replacement.
How long do I have to wait for warranty parts?
We replace standard components (hinges, hardware, shelves) within 3–10 business days. Custom fronts and cut parts we remake within 2–3 weeks.
05 Topic 05

Yes, that's our core business. Every Skarvin piece has its own dimensions, material, color, and structure. We work from your sketches or from scratch.
Do you sell beds with mattresses?

Do you provide old furniture removal services?
No, we don't remove old furniture. We recommend the Tartu waste collection centre or a dedicated removal service.
06 Topic 06
B2B & contract manufacturing
Do you offer contract manufacturing for furniture brands and developers?
Yes. We offer contract manufacturing for furniture brands (private label / OEM), real-estate developers (kitchens and built-in furniture for residential projects), and designers/architects who want to produce their drawings at scale.
What is your minimum order quantity?
For contract production, typically from 10 sets (e.g., 10 kitchen-front kits or 50 drawers). For smaller volumes, our standard quote works better.
Do you work from the client’s drawings?
Yes. We accept DWG, DXF, PDF, STEP, SKP files. Before mass production we make a prototype (proof batch) and approve dimensions, finishes and quality requirements.
What are the lead times for B2B orders?
Typical cycle: 10–15 business days for the proof batch + 25–40 business days for the main batch (depends on volume and finish). We can do rush orders at a surcharge.
Do you offer private-label / OEM manufacturing?
Yes. We manufacture under the client’s brand, using your packaging and labelling (including QR codes and serial numbers). We sign an NDA before sharing any technical documentation.
Do you hold certifications (CE, FSC)?
We work with FSC-certified wood and E1-grade MDF/plywood. We provide CE marking on request together with the supporting technical documentation.
How is quality control organised?
Each batch undergoes 3-stage QC: raw material (dimensions, damage), post-processing (±0.1 mm tolerance), pre-packaging (appearance, hardware function). Clients can send their own QC inspector to the workshop if they want.
Logistics — Baltics and Nordics?
We ship to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. We work on both FCA (Tartu) and DAP (client address) Incoterms. Container logistics we can consolidate into a single shipment.
