This bookshelf combines open display shelves on top with closed cabinets at the base. The split keeps books and ornaments in view while everyday clutter stays behind the lower fronts.

Soft LED light tucked under each shelf picks out spines and decor: ceramic vases, small sculptures and house plants. The palette stays light and neutral, in line with the Scandinavian language, and lets the colors of the book covers do the accent work.

The finish is matte, the inside edges are sanded clean and the shelf depth is sized for both standard and oversized books. The result is a centerpiece for the room that reads at once as functional storage and as a quiet home gallery.
